Prof. ASHWINI GHAISAS

Ashwini Abhyankar-Ghaisas is portrait photographer and leading short film maker. She holds a postgraduate degree in Fine arts (painting) and a diploma in photography. She is a trained film maker from the New York Film Academy, New York.
As a director, her short films have won many accolades at International and National level film festivals. These include MIFF, JIFF, etc. Her specialty in portrait photography has resulted in completing several portfolio assignments including those of some renowned personalities. She was awarded ‘Pu La Deshpande Smruti Puraskar’ for her achievements as a young photographer.
She has worked not only as a creative artist behind the camera but also in front of the camera as a TV serial and film artiste, stage artiste, etc. She also has a teaching experience in the field of photography. Costume designing and make-up artistry too have utmost contribution in her multifaceted career.
It is her extensive experience in teaching photography that has led to a strong foundation of the institute.
Prof. AKSHAY SHINTRE
“ Had I put my heart and soul out on a canvas, it would look like a photograph ”
Akshay is commercial photographer specializing in Portrait and Fashion photography. He holds a master’s degree in environmental science but photography was always his true calling. He pursued a diploma in photography from Fergusson College, Pune at a very young age. After taking formal education of the art, he got valuable guidance from the great photographer Late Mr. Gautam Rajadhyaksha while assisting the maestro.
He started his career in commercial photography in 2006. Major part of his commercial work has been in Fashion, Portraits and Product photography.P. N. Gadgil jewelers, Ghodke Saraf jewelers are some of the famous names among his clients.
Akshay has a substantial teaching experience of 9 years. He is proficient and experienced in syllabus designing, curriculum design, academic planning and management. He has thus played a crucial part in designing of the institute.
Prof. SHRIHARI DHOLE
Shrihari’s journey in photography started with his keen interest in birding and his habit of capturing every moment. He joined MIT-WPU School of Photography in 2016-17 to fulfil his dream of converting photography from his hobby to profession. He was a meritorious student of his batch and was applauded by the jury for his excellent work.
He is passionate and fearlessly chases his dreams. He specialises in Wildlife and Product Photography, but like to explore his interest in Fashion & Portrait Photography as well.
Prof. CHINMAY MORGAONKAR
Chinmay has an experience of 12 years in the field of Photography. After studying basics, he assisted Commercial, Advertising, Industrial photographers and later started his own practice. He has been teaching photography for the last 3 years and has conducted professional workshops.
His professional work is published in various magazines like AD, RTF, Trends, etc. and his Personal projects are published by PMC for social welfare.
Mr. YOGESH BRAHME
Yogesh has been trained in handling studio equipment under the able guidance of Mr. Kumar Gokhale since 1999. While assisting Mr. Kumar Gokhale he got valuable knowledge in studio photography and designing. He assists other photographers like Mrs. Ashwini Abhyankar Ghaisas, Mr. Sanjay Khamkar and Mrs. Rajashree Pandharpure, as well.
Yogesh makes sure that students learn how to handle equipment with utmost care and safety.

Prof. VEDANT CHANDAK
Vedant holds a BBA degree in Marketing Management but he soon knew that his passion for Photography has surpassed his interest in management studies by leaps and bounds. Thus he joined MIT-WPU School of Photography in the 2016-17 batch and proved his ability by being the topper among his batch and winning the Award of Excellence for his overall performance - “Student of the Year” Award.
He specializes in Fashion and Portrait photography but he is also exploring Product, Advertising and Event photography to enrich his experience as a professional photographer.He started his commercial photography in 2010. He is passionate about Wildlife and Nature photography as well.
