      Ashwini Abhyankar-Ghaisas is portrait photographer and leading short film maker. She holds a postgraduate degree in Fine arts (painting) and a diploma in photography. She is a trained film maker from the New York Film Academy, New York.
      As a director, her short films have won many accolades at International and national level film festivals. These include MIFF, JIFF, etc. Her specialty in portrait photography has resulted in completing several portfolio assignments including those of some of renowned personalities. She was awarded ‘Pu La Deshpande Smruti Puraskar’ for her achievements as young photographer.
      She has worked not only as a creative artist behind the camera but also in front of the camera as TV serial and film artiste, stage artiste, etc. She also has teaching experience in the field of photography. Costume designing and make-up artistry too have utmost contribution in her multifaceted career.
      It is her extensive experience in teaching photography that has lead in the formation of the strong foundation of the institute.

      Akshay is commercial photographer specializing in Portrait and Fashion photography. He holds a master’s degree in environmental science but photography was always his true calling. He pursued a diploma in photography from Fergusson College, Pune at a very young age. After taking formal education of the art, he got valuable guidance from the great photographer Late Mr. Gautam Rajadhyaksha while assisting the maestro.
      He started his career in commercial photography in 2006. Major part of his commercial work has been in Fashion, Portraits and Product photography.P. N. Gadgil jewelers, Ghodke Saraf jewelers are some of the famous names among his clients.
       Akshay has a substantial teaching experience of 9 years. He is proficient and experienced in syllabus designing, curriculum design, academic planning and management. He has thus played a crucial part in designing of the institute.

      Purva is a photojournalist and Documentary photographer. After completing her graduation in commerce, she acquired a Diploma in Photojournalism where she was trained under the able guidance of Mr. Fawzan Husain, one of India’s best Documentary photographers. She obtained her 1st documentary project from an international NGO, while she was still studying photography.
       As a photojournalist, she started her career with the Business India Magazine in Mumbai as staff photographer before starting off as a freelancer. She has worked for big names like OutLook Money magazine, Hindustan Times (Mumbai) and Pune Times on freelance assignments.
       Her personal projects have been published in magazines and newspapers. Her work has been exhibited in a group shows at the Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai and Balgandharva Art Gallery, Pune. She is also a recipient of Jury Commendation at the prestigious Toto Awards for Photography in 2014.
       Apart from photography, Purva has keen interest in Film Making, Makeup& Hair artistry and Food Styling.



      Vedant holds a BBA degree in Marketing Management but he soon knew that his passion for Photography has surpassed his interest in management by leaps and bounds. Thus he joined MIt-WPU School of Photography in 2016-17 batch and proved his ability by being the topper among his batch and winning the “Student of the Year” Award.
      He specialises in Fashion and Portrait Photography but he is also exploring Product, Nature and Event photography to enrich his experience as professional photographer.



      Shrihari’s journey in photography started with his keen interest in birding and his habit of capturing every moment. He joined MIT-WPU School of Photography in 2016-17 to fulfil his dream of converting photography from his hobby to profession. He was a meritorious student of his batch and was applauded by the jury for his excellent work.
     He is passionate and fearlessly chases his dreams. He specialises in Wildlife and Product Photography, but like to explore his interest in Fashion & Portrait Photography as well.



      Yogesh has been trained in handling studio equipment under the able guidance of Mr. Kumar Gokhale since 1999. While assisting Mr. Kumar Gokhale he got valuable knowledge in studio photography and designing. He assists other photographers like Mrs. Ashwini Abhyankar Ghaisas, Mr. Sanjay Khamkar and Mrs. Rajashree Pandharpure, as well.
      Yogesh makes sure that students learn how to handle equipment with utmost care and safety.

      Nikhil is an alumnus of MIT-WPU School of Photography with specialization in advertising and product photography. He was awarded “Student of the year 2015-16”.
      He has completed MBA in international Business which makes him understand the dynamics and statistics of photography business. He loves to share his experiences and knowledge with everyone.
      His interest lies in fashion, product, portrait and food photography.
